SwiftTec FAQ: How to turn off the Operators Feature

Problem

The software is prompting for a username and password, but I don't want this. How do I turn it off?

Solution

This happens when the operators module/feature is turned on. The default operator is admin with a blank (empty) password.

To switch off the Operators feature you must run the Admin Tool, enter the username and password for an administrator and select the modules tab:

You will see the that the Operators entry is ticked, Click on the tick to remove it, then press the OK button. The next time the software is run it will not ask for a password.
