	Dell provide excellent well-balanced systems that perform really well. They are easy to maintain and very reliable.
Apple	Apple create an interesting alternative to the PC. Apple computers are very stable and currently much less prone to viruses (virus writers seem to prefer to attack Microsoft based computers). The basic Microsoft office software (Word and Excel) is available for the Apple platform.
